Your day.

As a Polysomnographic Technologist / Sleep Technologist, you need to know how to:

• Perform Polysomnographic testing and acquisition sleep staging according to AASM standards and department protocols.


• Maintain complete and accurate recordings and patient records.


• Provide on-going quality customer service including patient education.


• Participate in one community service event/year.


• Participate in new technician orientation.


• Serve as a resource for PSG1 technicians.


• In addition to the responsibilities described above, the role may include EMU monitoring when needed.

Your experience.

• Associates Degree, required


• Current Registered Polysomnographic technologist (RpsgT) with a minimum of two (2) yearsâ™ experience in sleep diagnosticsORCurrent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of two (2) yearsâ™ experience in sleep diagnosticsORRegistered EEG Technician with a minimum of two (2) yearsâ™ experience in sleep diagnostics, required


• Current BLS certification, required
