Job Summary
This Staff Nurse will be responsible for:
- Triaging sleep study requests, allocating resources and plan of care for successful, safe study

- Patient and family education regarding disease management
- Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and modifying plans of care in collaboration with APN and MD providers
- Providing ongoing care coordination between clinic visits by communicating with families, healthcare team members and other agencies involved.
- Opportunity to contribute to research and evidence based practice development.
To qualify, you must have:
- BSN degree.
- 2 years of Pediatric RN experience; with inpatient setting experience and Neuroscience or Pulmonary experience preferred.
- Ability to set priorities when organizing care for patients with varying acuity.
- Strong telephone interview skills.
- Collaborative teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of pediatrics and family centered care.
- Ability to function autonomously using the nursing process.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work evening shifts from 12:00 pm (noon) to 10:30 pm including Saturdays. 20 hours per week.
