On June 9, 2015, the AAST held a General Membership Meeting during the 37th Annual Meeting. During the meeting, Laura Linley, RST, RPSGT, CRTT, was installed as the 14th President of the AAST. Ms. Linley was presented with a wooden gavel and sound block to symbolize her new position of leadership. Ms. Linley then presented a gavel and plaque to Rita Brooks, MEd, RST, RPSGT, REEG/EPT, AAST President (2013-2015), honoring her service and symbolizing her move from President to Immediate Past President.

"I am grateful for this opportunity to lead the American Association of Sleep Technologists, and I look forward to all that we are going to accomplish together," said Linley.

The term for AAST Director-at-Large, Bill Rivers, RST, RPSGT, also concluded at the General Membership Meeting. Mr. Rivers was an indispensable member of the Board, serving diligently for many years as a past Treasurer and Director-at Large to further the goals of the AAST.

Joel Porquez, RST, RPSGT, was installed as a Director-at-Large of the AAST during the General Membership Meeting. Also installed were David Wolfe, MSEd, RRT-SDS, RST, RPSGT, and Cynthia Mattice, MS, RST, RPSGT, as Director-at-Large and Treasurer, respectively.
