The AAST is committed to promoting and advancing the sleep technologist profession while meeting the professional and educational needs of more than 4,200 members. Important changes in the U.S. health care system have had a significant impact on the field of sleep medicine and the profession of sleep technology since the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST) board of directors drafted its 2010 Strategic Plan. The AAST Board of Directors recognizes that these recent changes, as well as those that are on the horizon, will have a profound impact on the profession of sleep technology. In response to the changes seen within in the Industry, AAST has reviewed and updated its Strategic Plan.

It is important that AAST's Strategic Plan represent the membership. To ensure it does, we are asking our members for their feedback on these changes.
