The American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST) is hosting itsSleep Care Manager Courseon September 19-20, 2014 at the AAST National Office in Darien, IL.

The AAST has a priority to provide education to the sleep technology field. We also realize that hospital and sleep center budgets are tight and may not pay for continuing education. Because of this, a limited number of scholarships are being offered to sleep technologists that are registered to attend the course.

These scholarships will help to offset the costs for sleep technologists to further their education and prepare for their expanding role in the care of sleep disorders patients.

In order to be eligible, the technologists must be an AAST member, registered for the course and demonstrate that his/her employer is not providing financial assistance to the technologist to attend the course. Award recipients will receive scholarship monies on-site at the course at the time of check-in.

To apply, complete thescholarship applicationand attach a letter of recommendation from your employer. The letter should state that this course will contribute to your growth as a sleep technologist and that your employer is not paying for any portion of the course or travel costs.
